Growing up, I learned that life can change in an instant. One of the most difficult experiences I have faced was losing my mother. Her passing left a deep impact on me and my family, and it was a challenge that affected me emotionally and mentally. Despite the pain, I carried with me the lessons she taught me about kindness, perseverance, and the importance of never giving up on my dreams.

Along with the loss of my mother, my family has also faced financial difficulties. There have been times when pursuing higher education felt uncertain because of the costs involved. However, these challenges have not stopped me from striving for a better future. Instead, they have motivated me to work harder and appreciate every opportunity that comes my way.

I am currently a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management. I chose this program because I am fascinated by how businesses connect with people and how effective marketing can influence decisions and create opportunities. I enjoy learning about consumer behavior, business strategies, and communication. As I continue my studies, I am excited to develop the skills and knowledge that will help me succeed in the business world.

College has been both exciting and challenging. Being a first-year student means adjusting to a new environment, managing greater responsibilities, and learning to balance different aspects of life. There are moments when the pressure feels overwhelming, but I remind myself of the reasons why I started this journey. I want to build a better future for myself and for my family, and I know that education is one of the most important steps toward achieving that goal.

My mother’s memory continues to inspire me every day. Whenever I face difficulties, I think about how proud she would be to see me pursuing my education and working toward my dreams. Her strength motivates me to keep moving forward, even when the path is difficult.

After graduation, I hope to build a successful career in the field of marketing and business. I want to use my skills to help businesses grow, create meaningful connections with customers, and contribute positively to society. More importantly, I want to support my family and give back to the people who have supported me throughout my journey. I also hope to inspire other young people who may be facing challenges to continue pursuing their goals despite the obstacles in their way.

The Pinoy Legacy Scholarship has been a tremendous blessing in my life. It has helped ease the financial burden of pursuing a college education and has given me the opportunity to focus more on my studies. Beyond the financial assistance, this scholarship has given me hope and encouragement. It reminds me that there are people who believe in students like me and are willing to invest in our future.

As I continue my educational journey, I remain committed to working hard, honoring my mother’s memory, and making the most of every opportunity I receive. I am deeply grateful for the support of Pinoy Legacy, and I hope to one day give back to my community and help others achieve their dreams just as this scholarship is helping me achieve mine.
